TV Commentary on Battlestar Galactica
I don’t know what I find more repugnant. Is it the use of “gawdhelpus?” BLECH! Or is it the fact that someone is panning Battlestar Galactica in an unsubstantiated fashion when all this show seems to do is surprise people and get good reviews as it breaks the mold of Sci-Fi television.
I don’t mean to come off like a fanboy, but this high falutent critic with her superiority complex and her dismissiveness can go to hell. I just want to remind her and everyone else out there that “Everybody” DOES NOT “Love Raymond.”
Paris In Flames
Paris didn’t have a very good week performing and she is now toast on the American Idol landscape. Regardless of performances, I expect Elliott Yamin to go next. He has one of the better singing voices left, but because he looks a little bit like Gizmo the Gremlin, I think he will be left out.
Big Love
It is official. I actually like Big Love the show on after The Sopranos on HBO. Last night the son was asking his dad if he thought that he should also have a plural marriage (multiple wives.) Bill Paxton says to his son, “Yes son. I think you have a big heart.”
The rest of the night I asked Jen if I could have multiple wives because I have a big heart too.
(She wasn’t buying it.)
American Idol: Mandisa is Gone
I must say I am a little surprised that Mandisa is gone, but at the same time, it doesn’t bother me. So, if you are keeping score at home, grey hair (Taylor) is much more gooder than fat people (Mandisa.) Fat people (Mandisa) much more gooder than lispy Long Islanders (Kevin Covais.)
I think we could get a whole read on the stratification of stereotypes after this show is over.

Is American Idol Over Yet?
I think I might almost be done with the show. I have figured out who the winner is already. I don’t care what the rest of America thinks. Chris Daughtry is the best. He could easily make it with a band already. Nobody else on the show provides anything really groundbreaking and/or interesting. Ace stinks on ice with his child molester looks into the audience. The lispy Long Islander is a novelty. Mandisa has talent and should probably be the runner up. Taylor Hicks is interesting, but he belongs in front of a wedding band.
That’s it. It’s over.
