I never thought I would see the day that CNN would have even a mention of the band Cattle Decapitation, but there it is on their website. Seriously though, if they end up doing a feature on Dying Fetus, that will just be the end of me.
Thom Yorke – The Eraser
Everyone should check out this album from Radiohead’s frontman. This is a spectacular album. It is electronic, poppy, and at the same time raw and musical. While there are no shortage of blips and bleeps, almost all of the vocals on the record are pure and clean. It is quite a musical dichotomy. Oh, and the songs are beautiful.
It’s like The British Postal Service.
Just remember, I told you so.
Chris Daughtry Turns Down Fuel Offer
Chris Daughtry is apparently going to try to do “his own thing.”
I guess I can respect that, but it also doesn’t seem all bad to join up with some dudes who have an established name. If you are going to start your writing career, join those boys, change up the name and at least start your career with an awesome band.

I am no fan of the Stones, but this seems a bit hypocritical from a guy who played Live 8 with Pink Floyd last year.
New Tool Album 10,000 Days Leaked and Downloaded
People everywhere are finding and downloading the new Tool album that hasn’t even come out yet. Hopefully the loyal Tool fans will do the right thing and buy it online in the meantime so the band won’t suffer in the first week of sales.
I Write the Songs…
I was listening to the radio this morning and someone was talking about Barry Manilow’s new contract to perform at the Vegas Hilton. Now, without even hearing the song, I have “I Write the Songs” in my head. I wish I had headphones right now. I would cleanse the pallet with some death metal or something. Maybe Converge or The Dillinger Escape Plan.
Thom Yorke Turns Down Tony Blair
Radiohead frontman Thom Yorke says he turned down the chance to discuss climate change with Tony Blair because the British prime minister has “no environmental credentials.”
But the rock star from Radiohead does? I know what he means but this statement is still funny.
Is American Idol Over Yet?
I think I might almost be done with the show. I have figured out who the winner is already. I don’t care what the rest of America thinks. Chris Daughtry is the best. He could easily make it with a band already. Nobody else on the show provides anything really groundbreaking and/or interesting. Ace stinks on ice with his child molester looks into the audience. The lispy Long Islander is a novelty. Mandisa has talent and should probably be the runner up. Taylor Hicks is interesting, but he belongs in front of a wedding band.
That’s it. It’s over.
