Yi Jianlian is a Baby
Yi was picked by the Milwaukee Bucks in the NBA draft and he didn’t want to go there. He is demanding a trade because that isn’t where he wanted to be paid millions of dollars to play a game for a living.
Working in this country, specifically in the NBA is a privilege. The draft system is set up so that teams can improve themselves. When a guy like this throws bargaining power around where he should not have any, it creates major problems in the game. The commissioner should step in because the sanctity of their drafting system is at stake. Steve Francis never should have been able to get himself out of Vancouver and Yi should have to honor his draft position in Milwaukee.
Cleveland Indians Get Three All-Stars
The Cleveland Indians are in first place and the All-Star lineups help indicate how they have managed to get there in the competitive Central Division.
CC Sabathia leads the majors with 12 wins and he was named to the All-Star team for the third time in his career. Joining him are Victor Martinez and Grady Sizemore.
It is very nice to be represented by 3 quality and integral parts of a team that this city can be proud of. Hopefully Travis Hafner can get his game turned around in the second half. It is unlike him to not be in a position to make the All-Star team.
