Who’s Afraid of Google?
Except, I would argue that consumers aren’t afraid of Google. If you read some of Bob Cringely’s analysis, I think you will be happy that someone is thinking this big. Sure they could be the next Microsoft, but really, would that be such an awful thing? Microsoft gets a bad rap around the internet, but they have done a lot of great things for desktop computing even if they have stifled, cheated, lied and stolen along the way.
Maybe Google will even be able to stick to its mantra of “Don’t be evil.”
