Penn and Teller Bullshit
I am totally addicted to the Penn and Teller show on Showtime. I have been renting all the DVD’s from Netflix. Whether they are taking down the Intelligent Design folks, or debunking the benefits of recycling anything other than aluminum cans, or calling out PETA as supporters of terrorism, or killing the people who do Feng Shui, I just can’t get enough.
I want a whole TV channel around programming like this. Penn and Teller, the Mythbusters, the dudes from Freakonomics would be a good start for this channel. Once you got it established with these people, certainly more people who are actually almost without an agenda other than truth would be identified and join up onto the channel.
Now that would be something worth watching. Hell it could even start a movement or political party with people who are obsessed with the truth rather than silly left or right ideals of what they think they are supposed to be.
I can dream, right?
