Google Talk is the latest software offering from Google. Who would have thought that you could even bother with an entry into the Instant Messaging field this late in the game? Leave it to Google. They have used an open platform, and have even allowed for voice chat sessions. Apparently they are using this to get people using GMail, but it seems like a pretty big net for them to cast. Is it a pre-cursor to a Google Browser? Is it a VoIP ploy? Is it just because they can?
News rags in England are reporting that Courtney Love is pregnant.
I wonder if she knows who the father is? It could be one of 2500 people who came into contact with her while stage diving and crowd surfing during a concert.
Why is everyone picking on my pretend girl friend? How can you possibly think picking on Scarlett is fun? Evil, evil photographers!
If it works it isn’t a problem, but can someone explain to me how this is possible? Are these things stolen, or are the procured in bulk? I just don’t get the economics of it.
A petition aimed at internet sites that require “pointless” registrations like www.nytimes.com, www.washingtonpost.com, www.latimes.com, www.ajc.com, www.chicagotribune.com, www.dallasnews.com, www.nypost.com, www.baltimoresun.com, www.philly.com, www.mercurynews.com
It seems pointless to these people, but those sites are free, due to the fact that NYTimes and others can sell advertising on their sites. You know what allows them to sell advertising?
THE EFFING DEMOGRAPHIC INFORMATION OF THE USERS WHO ARE VISITING THE SITE!!!
Unless you want to pay for it, like the Wall Street Journal and others, then just fill out the registration information, turn off any email notifications and shut the eff up, you self-important losers.
That is all.
Burger King created a fake band to put in its commercials for the new Chicken Fries, which look just awful by the way. The fake band is called Coq Roq and wears masks similar to Slipknot. Slipknot is apparently pissed, and is now suing Burger King. I am no “legal eagle” but I am guessing that Burger King is covered under satire.
The O&A army got a collection together to buy a billboard where Jim Phillips has a radio show. Phillips messed with O&A and the listeners organized without any prompting from the show to smash the man. Gotta love the Willy Wonka reference. By the way, this is 100% real.
And with that, he was discharged from the 101st Airborne in 1962, launching a musical career that would redefine the guitar, leave other rock heroes of the day speechless and culminate with his headlining performance of “The Star-Spangled Banner” at Woodstock in 1969.
Ben Gibbard gives sparse quotes that are probably just little snippets without the full context of the conversation, but still a decent read.

After the album was “shelved indefinitely,” and fans snapped it up after it leaked online, Apple apparently re-recorded some of it with new producers and a revamped version of the album including a lot of the leaked material will be on store shelves on October 4th.
