The Gift of Not Giving
Sometimes a gift you decide not to give can be much better than the alternative. It is the gift that keeps not giving, and it is quite possible that everyone prefers it that way. If it is the thought that counts, then sometimes the thought should be enough. So, next time you think of a gift, consider not giving it.

Scott Bakula is best known for his five-year role as time traveler Sam Beckett on the sci-fi adventure series “Quantum Leap.” His performance brought him a Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Drama Series, in addition to four consecutive Emmy Award nominations and three additional Golden Globe nominations. He is also a five-time honoree of the Viewers for Quality Television. Under his Bakula Productions Inc. (BPI) , Bakula executive produced and starred in the CBS series”Mr. & Mrs. Smith”. The company also produced the CBS telefilm “The Bachelor’s Baby,” with Bakula starring. His feature film credits include voicing and singing inthe animated musical “Cats Don’t Dance” and starring roles in “Lord of Illusion”, “Color of Night” ,”A Passion To Kill”, “Sibling Rivalry” “Necessary Roughness” and “American Beauty ” .Bakula also received a 1988 Tony nomination for his starring role in the Broadway musical “Romance/Romance.” His other theater credits include “Marilyn: An American Fable,” “Three Guys Naked From the Waist Down” and “Nite Club Confidential.”
