I think I would have soiled myself had I been in that class guilty of stealing the laptop. I wonder how much of that was true. I would not call that guys bluff though.

I would totally chicken out and return the computer. After calling my dad to hire a lawyer for me, that is. It it as easy to manipulate all those law enforcement agencies with tears as it is traffic cops?
eff him. There is no way some Berkeley college prof is nearly as high up as he says he is. Like Chris said, format C:\. free laptop.
The prof admitted to making up a lot of that stuff… being the dork that I am, I would have formatted it and then (in my case at Boston U) thrown it in the Charles river. The pollution in that river could take the skin off of your arm, so imagine what it would do to a submersed laptop.
By the way deezo, when do you expect the bread to come out of the oven?
I don’t think they make you get special inoculations to swim in the Charles anymore. Not that I’d swim in it, but they don’t make you get shots.
