Playing no Mo’
January 26, 2004 · Filed Under Uncategorized
Mo Vaughn has called it a career. Now, Mo Vaughn has finally done what many thought was impossible. He has eaten himself out of the game. He has problems with his arthritic knee. I am sure it had nothing to do with the 240 extra pounds on his 400 pound frame. Don’t worry too much about Mo though. He is set to make the money from the final years of his $80 million contract that he signed in 1999. I am sure Mo will be just fine.

I’d like to point out that me, my friend Chris, and his father were the only three people in New England who thought Mo Vaughn was an overrated bum back in 1999 and applauded his leaving the Red Sox.
What does this prove? If you just keep talking, eventually you’ll say something that proves to be true.
Yeah, and then he promptly fell down the dugout stairs in Anaheim and it was all over. What a waste of a huge contract.
