Death Cab for Cutie on Craig Kilborn
I must say I was very tired last night, but I was happy that I stayed up too late when I realized that Death Cab for Cutie were playing on Craig Kilborn. I read it on their web site a couple of days ago, but I forgot. So, Death Cab fans took over the studio audience, who went insane every time Kilborn mentioned them. Also on the show were the incomparable Steven Baldwin and the President of the United States of Crazy, Al Sharpton.
They played “The New Year” to close out the show and they sounded really good. They rocked it out pretty hard, and it sounded especially good at the end when Ben Gibbard and Chris Walla did their harmony to close out the song. Hopefully somebody rips it so you can download the video. It is also a sad day because it means I am going to have a much tougher time getting tickets to see them play on their next tour. Good for them for becoming more famous and popular, but it is going to make my life more difficult as a fan. They should think of me more often!
