Definition of Infringe
Can we please have a little discussion on what “infringe” means? I don’t believe your rights are being infringed upon if someone displays something religious in their cube at work. I think you might have a claim if it was in a common area or someone sent you religious email like they sent Justin a while back. Freedom of religion doesn’t mean that we all have to hide our beliefs. It just means we can’t push them on others. Having a reasonable display of a Christmas tree, a Menorah, a festivus pole or a picture of L. Ron Hubbard is not out of line and doesn’t infringe on anyone’s rights to religious freedom in my humble opinion.
Murder and Molestation
Eric Olsen has written an article on MSNBC.com comparing the seemingly unrelated legal issues facing Michael Jackson and Phil Spector.
How well do you know me?
I have created a quiz that will test your knowledge of this humble host (ME!). See how well you know me. On questions with more than one right answer the BEST answer will give you more points. Good Luck!

Stop Celebrating
This Sunday the Browns beat the Cardinals 44-6 which is impressive. When you overmatch a team you are supposed to beat them and this week the Browns beat them the right way. The Cardinals are probably the worst team in the entire league this year. Maybe you should stop congratulating yourselves and get ready for Pittsburgh who is going to provide a bit more challenge than the listless Cardinals. Just a thought, Butch.
Hating on ESPN
Did you know that Bill Belichek used to work for Bill Parcells? Did you know Bill Parcells won his Superbowls with Belichek on his staff? Do you know that Belichek won his Superbowl without Parcells? Did you know that the two Bills worked together for different teams at different times with varying rates of success? Do you know that they are both good coaches? Do you know that they can be put in a split screen 2,345 times during a single game on ESPN Sunday Night Football? Do you know that a horrible announcing crew can infuriate you with their one-track mind also known as a story-line (”The Bill’s”)that the producers made them carry for the entire game? Do you know that some of us don’t need an overdone storyline to enjoy a game that is already compelling because of the rules and the PLAYERS as well as the two coaches who may or may not have anecdotal qualities about them?
ESPN killed me with this game last night. They did the same thing with Lebron’s first game. Relax on the storylines and broadcast some sporting events. OK?
Are You Ready…
for some FOOTBALL? I am headed to the Browns game at 9:30 this morning. The gates don’t open until 11 and kickoff isn’t until after 1:00 pm. Maybe I will remember enough of the game to post here tomorrow. Maybe not. Should be fun anyway. ROCK!
Green Means Stop
As if the Browns didn’t have enough garbage going on, William Green will be suspended for 4 games by the NFL for his arrest on DUI and drug possession. There could be a bright spot. Lee Suggs, a rookie from Virginia Tech, who dropped in the draft because of a shoulder injury, is healthy and will get some time playing. He had comparable stats and could possibly be better than Green. This may prove to be important next year as this year is basically over now for the Browns anyway. I wonder if Suggs can play QB.
It Doesn’t Matter
Mister Crunchy has one of the best political summations that I have seen in a long time. Go and be enlightened.
