Saw the episode.  Couldn&#039;t agree with you more...although I wouldnt concede the whole smarter than you point.  While he defintiely seemed to have a ton of firsthand experience, he also came across as having an agenda, a strong one.  Let&#039;s not forget he was selling a book and last time I checked &quot;War in Iraq is going horribly&quot; sells many more copies than &quot;War in Iraq Has Ups and Downs&quot;.

Kind of like the global warming books that say we&#039;ll all be underwater in 50 years.  Things just can&#039;t be bad or on the wrong path anymore.  They must be extrapolated to &quot;Day After Tomorrow&quot; proportions to make a point.
