Weekend Links (Birthday Edition)
Yesterday I was the happy recipient of a big-time traffic boost from some websites that rule the Sports Blog-u-verse. I got a link from The Big Lead and the always entertaining Deadspin. So, I figured, I read all kinds of articles and I sometimes poach a topic here or there to expound upon in my own relatively unoriginal voice. I might as well spread some love to those articles that I read and enjoyed. This may be a short-lived style of post for me, but I thought I would try it on for size. See if it fits well.
Also, today is my birfday. I am a happy, healthy 29 years old. It started to snow last night, it is 10 degrees and the wind advisory says that the wind chill could be as low as negative 10 today. I think I will hibernate until we go to the Cavs game tonight.
On with the links!
Random internet friend Legend of Cecilio Guante makes a non-homer case for why nobody else should be considered for MVP other than LeBron James. [Legend of Cecilio Guante]
Remember my story on Kevin Hart? He might actually get a shot with a school after lying about Cal and Oregon. [The Big Lead (Now with Soul Plane Pics!]
The biggest concern for the Cleveland Indians this season will undoubtedly be the number of innings that their starters pitched deep into the playoffs last year. [Terry Pluto is the Best]
David Letterman apparently does not like the Pats one bit. [AOL Sports Blog]
I am going to link to myself here. It might be a lie, but it also might be possible that Ira Newble’s agent commented on my blog yesterday. [FilteringCraig]
Speaking of linking to myself, this article by Brian Windhorst states almost EXACTLY what I said in my article yesterday. Thankfully mine published first or you guys would call me a ripoff artist! [Brian Windhorst on Cavs Standing Pat]
Last but not least, there is a new site devoted mostly to the Indiana Hoosiers basketball program from what I can tell. I am not sure why everyone needs to come up with the weirdest, most difficult website names to remember in the entire world. This merits a link because the site is written by my brother-in-law (Jen’s brother) and his good friend from The Chronicles of Abs. [Statler and Waldorf Arena]

Happy Birthday, Craig…
And cheer up about Cleveland Sports. Just do what I do…I hate the Patriots so much, I actually feel like I won something this week. It works..
