Does it really matter that they are not in an emergency situation? What do you expect them to do, spend half an hour driving around looking for a proper place to park? They are in uniform and on duty, which means at any moment they might need to drop what they are doing and jump into a situation to protect any one of us. In my book, anyone who has a job that requires wearing a bullet proof vest can park wherever the hell they want to get some food.
