<description>Now, I am not sure about Kiddicus' prowess in eating, because frankly we haven't had many meals together, but we should figure out the events.

Chris, I know you are something of a picky eater, so we would have to discover what foods you and Kiddicus would go head to head with.

I will say that when it comes to eating piping hot food quickly, Chris D is totally unwilling to let foods cool off before he inhales them, ala BPE's calzones.

Should we try and find a neutral food?

<description>The US Open of Competitive Eating is awesome! I didn't get to see the Spaghetti mathces, but I watched the cheese fries qualifier. Kobiyashi ate like 6 lbs of cheese fries in 10 minutes! It was ridiculos!

		<description>Craig,

I implore you to have Kiddicus retract his challenge before someone gets hurt. He doesnt know who he is dealing with when it comes to eating fast.

Aside: Has anyone watching the US Open of competitive eating on ESPN. Its been on a few times in the last week or so. Kobayashi, the ho dog guy, is amazing. HE ate 13 pounds of spaghetti bolognese in like 8 minutes. I may not be the worlds fastest, I guess.

<description>All I can say is stick the frick with it. I went on what I called "Atkins Lunch", where I would eat Triscuits, lunchmeat and cheese.

I know Triscuits aren't low-carb, but they're packed with fiber, so they're good carbs in my mind.

Short term it sucks, there's no gettin' around that, but it will pay off "huge" in the end.

Kudos-

<description>Don't feel too responsible. By the time you said that on that post I had already purchased the scale and set my start date. In terms of stomach problems, I can tell you that I have already cut my consumption of Tums to zero. Apparently all that garbage was contributing to my heart burn. Who would have thought? :-)

By the way, I might have to call a weekend off of the diet for your bachelor party in Montreal. I know I am going to break the beer portion of the diet, anyway.

		<description>Craig,

You know you beat Deezo because of the strict calzone training you had here in Boston, not to mention training from the world's fastest eater(who will be having an endoscopy for stomach problems soon). I applaud your change in habits.

Second, I cant help but feel partially responsible, especially after the comparison to Jack Osbourne a week back.
